The story of Spectrum Tuition began in a modest office above a bakery in Footscray, where siblings Thuy, Thien, and Hany decided to help local students with their studies.

As their small centre grew, they began to see the positive impact they were having on the students they served. Many of these students went on to earn scholarships and secure places in selective schools. Others achieved offers to study the university courses of their dreams. This success motivated Thuy to pursue post-graduate studies in education after completing her initial degrees in commerce and arts.

The turning point in Thuy's journey occurred during her teaching rounds when she noticed the disparities among different schools. Some schools provided consistent and rigorous educational experiences with well-structured testing schedules, while others struggled to offer the same quality of education. This inequality not only affected the students but also placed significant stress on teachers.

Making the decision to operate your own business is a big step, which is why we’re committed to making the process as open and informative as possible. It’s an important decision for both of us, so we’ll provide all the support and information you need to help you make the right decisions for you and your family. Our recruitment process involves the following 15 steps:

Step 1. Send us an enquiry

Step 2. Spectrum Tuition gets in touch and sends you a Franchise Brochure, Franchise Application Form, Confidentiality Agreement and Franchise Information Statement.

Step 3. You read through the brochure and fill in the Franchise Application Form and sign the Confidentiality Agreement and then send it back to Spectrum Tuition.

Step 4. We meet to get to know each other better and answer
any questions you might have.

Step 5. You will be invited to complete the assessment

Step 6. You conduct your due diligence and reserve your territory with a fully refundable territory holding deposit of $2200.

Step 7. You Make Your Final Decision

Step 8. If you decide to proceed, the Franchise Agreement is customised for you. It is signed, the fees are paid, and training commences.

If you decide NOT to proceed, we refund the $2200 and that's the end of the process.

Step 9. Final paperwork check

Everything you need and more! You get the right to operate as a Spectrum Tuition franchisee in an exclusive franchise territory for a period of 4 years with another 4 year option to renew. You will register your own business called Spectrum Tuition (territory name). If you opt to renew in 4 years there are no additional franchise charges. For your franchise fee you also receive all the training you require and operational, marketing and other support you need to operate your business.

What type of work will I be doing?
Spectrum Tuition is a tutoring business. You will be taking small classes of one to 15 students (the average is 6-8 students) following a structured classroom format. You will also be responsible for managing your employees, administration, customer service and marketing activities.

What skills and experience do I need?
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, and a passion for teaching and working with students. A proficiency in mathematics and English is a must.

How much money will I make?
The short answer is that depends on you. We can’t predict what a franchisee is going to earn, however we can tell you that we have a great business with a sought after service.
